Timeline

June 1999-2000

• Gigi's therapy home based program was initiated at the GSOH
• Loyal clients from other school transferred.
• The “GS Option House for Autism and Related Disorder” tutorial center (1st House) was founded. 

• Early Childhood Level (ECL), Middle Childhood Level (MCL) and Adult/Adolescent Level (AAL) with multiple integrated approach was establish with 22 clients of person with autism.
• The school was known from the referral of other clients.

• With the increase of enrollment in this school year (2001-2002), GS decide to put up another house to accommodate more clients and referrals of doctor in the person of Dr. Joel Lazaro.
• Joining the group of students is Jadi Española who at present, still enrolled at GSOH.
• Another house (2nd House) was established to accommodate (ECL) and (MCL) students

• In-House program in a 24 hours curriculum intervention for students with adaptability deficits was founded and pioneered by “Nico Vendejo” who is the first (1st) student who serves as the opening door to the program. (3rd House)

• Increase of students is still evident 
• GSOH provides curriculum for autism in Early Childhood Level (ECL), Middle Childhood Level (MCL) and Adult/Adolescent Level (AAL)
• A curriculum of 7-hour program for Adult/Adolescent Level (AAL) was created, and was given to Jeffrey Rosales as the first benefactor of the new program.

• Sole proprietorship of GSOH was change to Corporation under the Secretary of Exchange Commission (SEC).
• One-on-one therapy program was created
• First closing ceremony with the Moving-up of students  for each level to another level
• Recommendation of person with autism (PWA) to regular school
• The GS Staff House (4th House) was established.

• Government recognition of the GSOH, given by the Department of Education Region IV, as “Recognized a Sped School in Laguna”
• On  the job training of professionals were adapted
• The GS Admin/Management Staff Office together with the multipurpose hall were established (5th House)
• Occupational Therapy program was offered

• Speech/Language Therapy was formulated and recognized as one of the therapy for one-on-one, therefore a complete program of GSOH was introduced: Sped, OT, Speech etc.., combined with integrated approach. 

• GS Learning Center (GSLC) was born (6th House), a regular school was set-up because of the needs of special students of mainstreaming/inclusion program

• Creating of Bridge Program  at GSLC
• Another house was created to separate the pre-school and the grade school. (7th House)
• To accommodate guest/trainees, another house was created (8th House).

• Merging of the GSLC and GSOH in one organization and organizing the staff/management.
• Offering of Scholarship to GSLC deserving students based on their social/economic status and mental ability, and to provide quality education to neighbor or community.
